IconDrop is a macOS app that helps users turn images, logos, and project artwork into beautiful Mac-style folder icons.

Your privacy is important. IconDrop is designed to work locally on your Mac and does not collect, upload, or share your personal images.

Information We Collect

IconDrop does not collect personal information.

We do not collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your imported images
• Your folder names
• Your files
• Your browsing activity
• Analytics data
• Advertising identifiers

Image Processing

All image processing happens locally on your Mac. When you import an image into IconDrop, the image is used only to generate a folder or file icon preview. The image is not uploaded to any server.

File and Folder Access

IconDrop only accesses files and folders that you explicitly select.

The app may access:

• Images you choose or drag into the app
• Folders you select when using “Apply to Folder”
• Save locations you choose when exporting PNG or ICNS files

IconDrop does not scan your folders automatically.

Purchases

IconDrop uses Apple StoreKit to provide a one-time lifetime unlock. Apple may process purchase-related information according to Apple’s own policies. IconDrop does not receive your payment card details.

Network Usage

IconDrop does not upload your images or files. Network access may be used by Apple’s StoreKit system to validate purchases or restore previous purchases.

Third-Party Services

IconDrop does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools.

Children’s Privacy

IconDrop is not designed to collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated if the app changes in the future. Any updates will be reflected on this page.
